Pseudomonas Genome Database

Description :
The Pseudomonas Genome Database (formerly the Pseudomonas aeruginosa genome database and community annotation project or PseudoCAP) was originally developed as a resource for peer-reviewed, continually-updated annotation for the Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 reference strain genome. The database continues to act as a central resource for continually updated annotation information for the strain PAO1 genome, but now also hosts additional genome annotation information for all Pseudomonas species genomes. A user friendly, yet highly flexible, search and comparison interface facilitates the examination and comparison of genomic data using multiple views. The database is freely accessible and the database source code is available under a GNU General Public Licence.

This is a comprehensive database on all Pseudomonas species genomes providing primarily access to Pseudomonas aeruginosa genomic data and annotation. Its interface faciliates comparative analyses of genes, proteins, annotations and gene orders, and contains a wealth of additional data including pathway-based, operon-based, protein-localization based, gene function category and ortholog/paralog-based information.
